Professional detailing vs. a car wash. What’s the difference?

This is the age-old comparison when it comes to detailing services, so, what really are the differences? 

Well pricing difference is a no brainer, detailing is a service that costs way more than a quick drive through car wash, so what makes it more expensive? To start, you have the convenience of not having to leave your home to get your vehicle detailed, and we all know gas is not cheap. 

We can’t speak for other detailing businesses, every business is different, but we take the word “detailer” seriously. It is not our goal to wash, or do a quick clean up, we go for a higher form of service by: Aiming to always leaving the vehicle with some form of protection, cleaning hidden spots, compartments, and nooks & crannies of a vehicle that a “quick clean up” wouldn’t even think about touching.

 We research and use the highest quality products that we can find for the longest lasting clean we can leave behind.  We shoot for going above and beyond your expectations with the service and customer service as much as possible for the most enjoyable experience you can have with us. 

It makes us happy hearing “wow, it looks brand new and smells great in here, im almost scared to breathe in this thing!” or “I haven’t had it this clean since I first got it!”. Those reactions are very important to us, to know that we really did provide an impactful service that saved you time, and to really make you feel like you spent your hard earned money on something that is really worth it, and that will last longer than a quick clean up. This is our goal for every detail.

It is also a goal of ours to be as economically friendly as possible. We aim to use the least amount of water and harsh chemicals as possible to get the job done, meanwhile a car wash will just dump a large excess of chemical and water on your vehicle, which a large majority of the time doesn’t get your vehicle fully clean. 

We spend as much time as possible making sure that we provide an outstanding service, which is why our average time spent on a vehicle is around 3-4 hours. And if for any reason we don’t provide the highest level of the expected service? No problem, we’re only human and mistakes can happen, but we will come back and fix it immediately at our expense, and provide a discount for the next time you’re ready for a detail.
