Frequently Asked Questions
-
The difference in quality is almost incomparable. As someone with experience in both fields, I can tell you that a car wash employee probably does not care about how your vehicle looks when it is finished, or if they leave it with scratches. Unless a car wash is constantly cleaning it’s brushes, any dirty vehicle’s that went through before you has most likely left dirt on the bristles, which is the cause for the infamous car wash swirl marks. Not to mention the rough abrasive pads used to scrub your bugs off! As a Professional Detailer, it is our #1 priority to detail safely, where we can fully clean your vehicle without leaving swirl marks and scratches by using a safe and proper wash method.
-
Auto Detailing is general maintenance on your vehicle, but it is never anything surface level, such as a 45 second car wash. Our goal is for your vehicle to be cleaned and protected at a level to where it extends the life of your paint and plastics to keep your investment as pristine as possible. This is the place for you to fall in love with how your car looks as if it’s brand new.
-
Did you know that bug guts contain an acid that eats into your clear coat the longer it stays on there? Same goes for break dust build up on your wheels, if it is left for too long, it will be etched in and have irreversible damage. You may have seen these problems before, and no it is not an easy fix. Detailing helps prevent these bad permanent damages from happening to your vehicle before they happen. Each detailing service available has it’s own benefits for certain circumstances.
-
Under each service is a description of the specific benefits that would possibly fit for your vehicle. But, if you need more help with exactly what you need, give us a call/text or email with a few images attached if possible.

Car paint is not made how it used to be. The sun will beat down on it until it eventually starts oxidizing and peeling up, which is irreversible damage. Maintaining a clean car and keeping it protected will extend the life of your vehicle’s paint, which in turn keeps the value of your vehicle from dropping. Don’t let this happen to one of your most valuable possessions. Contact us for any questions or service recommendations.
-
A hand wax detail should occur 2-3 times per year to keep it protected and overall cleaned. But, a basic wash or detail should occur once or twice a month to maintain the protection by not allowing dirt to build up, which will keep your vehicle in it’s best condition.
-
Typically ranges from an hour 1/2, to 8 hours or more. We will let you know about how long a specific service will take when we get your vehicle scheduled in.
Auto Detailing FAQs
-
Some common paint defects that occur from everyday use include: light/micro scratches, water spots, and bug/bird/tar etchings. Some of these defects can be masked by a wax for a month or two, but paint correction removes as much of these defects as we can from the paint permanently.
-
Paint correction removes defects permanently. But these defects can happen again just as easily as they happened the first time without any protection. We include our paint Sealant with every correction, but we highly recommend going the extra step and getting yourself a highly protective ceramic coating to ensure these defects don’t return easily.
-
Typically 1-2 days for 1-2 step correction, and between 2-3 days for 3+ step correction.
Paint Correction FAQs
-
In most cases, yes. Paint correction is involved in the overall preparation process and can usually only be left out on perfect new car paint.
-
Ceramic coatings are hand applied with delicate applicators to prevent further micro scratching after the preparation process.
-
A ceramic coated vehicle is recommended to be properly washed with PH-neutral soap every 2 weeks - 1 month. Long term build up of dirt and debris may leave contaminates on the surface, which could decrease the total life expectancy. The coating is easy and simple to clean, so the washing process is usually minimal as long as it is maintained often.
-
Unfortunately no, scratches are still possible. But compared to your clear coat, a ceramic coating can take a ton more abuse, meaning it won’t scratch nearly as easily as an uncoated car.
-
Any open enclosed space with power and water available nearby. We can provide a garage at our location, or we can do the job at your location, whichever you may prefer.
-
With everything included, our ceramic coating packages are a typical 1-2 day process, but could be more based on vehicle size and condition. It takes this long due to the extensive process, as well as time for it to sit and cure.
